Take part in at least three out of six Community Passport PURSUIT categories. Double click on the stamps to the right to learn about each PURSUIT category.

Then, from April 22 through July 22, 2009, get out there and get involved in as many of these activities as you can. You will need to record the total number of hours you volunteer, using the online form in your Passport.

When you’re finished, please write about your experience in the Trip Diary. While you won’t be judged on your Trip Diary submission, you are required to submit a written statement to be eligible for the prizes.

1. Volunteer for conservation
   To win the Grand Prize, you must volunteer in at least 3 of the 6 PURSUIT categories as well as have the highest number of volunteer hours entered. The person with the second highest number of hours wins the First Prize; the 3rd, 4th, and 5th highest scores wins the Second Prize; and the 6th – 15th highest scores wins the Honorable Mention Prize.
2. Tell us about it
   Although you will not be judged on your written essay, we require you to submit one to be considered eligible for the contest. Why? Because your stories are just as valuable to us as the number of hours you volunteer. If you write something really good, we just might post it on TogetherGreen.org to serve as inspiration to others! We also encourage you to submit photos and videos of your experiences through our Community Works page.

• You must be over the age of 18
• You must provide your name, home address, a valid email address, and phone number to be eligible for prizes.
• If you are selected as a winner, before we award your prize, we will require you to provide documentation of your volunteer activities. You will need to provide a contact at each volunteer organization who can confirm your participation. We may also ask for photos or videos of you taking part in these activities.
• TogetherGreen may use the stories submitted to help inspire others to take their own volunteer action.
